POPULAR YOUNG COUPLE JOINED IN MARRIAGE
Miss Mildred Kunkel Becomes the Bride of Lawrence Nuebel on Tuesday

St. Joseph church in this city was the scene of a pretty wedding Tuesday morning when Miss Mildred Kunkel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Kunkel, of Le Mars, and Lawrence Nuebel, of America township, were united in marriage. The service was celebrated at 8:30 in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends with Mgr. J. D. Fisch officiating at the single ring ceremony.

The bride looked charming in her wedding gown of white satin with lace trimmings. Her veil of dainty lace was fastened in her hair with a coronet. She carried a bouquet of tea roses and sweet peas. Her sister, Miss Jerry Kunkel, who was bridesmaid, wore a pretty costume of green taffeta with matching accessories and carried a bouquet of yellow carnations. Vincent Nuebel, brother of the bridegroom, was best man.

Following the service, a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride's parents and later in the day a three course wedding dinner was served to a large party of friends.

The home was beautifully decorated in green and white, the bridal colors. Decorations in green and white were carried out in the table adornments and in the elaborate wedding cake which formed a centerpiece. Honors of serving were accorded friends of the bride, Misses Philomena Kurtzhals, Josephine Kurtzhals, Gertrude Luken, Dorothy Luken, Alvina Sitzman and Madeline Reuter.
