Rene' Mattison Lefler, daughter of Margaret Weldon Mattison of Dexter and the late Granvell Gordon Mattison Sr. was born on November 10, 1960 at Sikeston and departed this life in the Southeast Hospital at Cape Girardeau on March 19, 2009 at the age of 48.

Rene' was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Dexter, a home-maker and resident of Dexter.

She is survived by two daughters, Amy Winchester of Dexter and Ashley Mansker of Wichita Falls, Texas: by her mother, Margaret Mattison of Dexter; by four grandchildren, Hunter Hughes, Kaydence Hughes, Trinity Mansker and Tristin Mansker; by one sister-in-law, Debby Mattison of Dexter.

Besides her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Gordon Mattison.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M., Sunday, March 22, 2009. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P. M., Monday, March 23, 2009 in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Biggs officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
