At Clintonville - Mrs. David Lawson died at her home in this village, July 22 after a short illness. She leaves an aged husband and one son, David, of Lyon Mountain. Mrs. Lawson was eighty two years, and six months old and has lived in America fifty four years. Mr. and Mrs. Lawson came from Great Britain fifty four years ago on their wedding trip. Her funeral was held Thursday July 24, 1902 her pastor Rev. Mr. Le Grange officiating. Her remains were laid at rest beside her children who died in infancy. Her sorrowing husband is now living with his son and his family at Lyon Mountain.
