REXBURG - Robert Arnold McIntier, 67, Rexburg, retired employee of Utah Power and Light, died of cancer March 18, 1981 in a Rexburg hospital.


He was born September 16, 1913 at Lyman to John Arnold and Charlotte Emily Smith McIntier. He attended Lyman grade school and Madison High School. He married Wanda Pabst September 1, 1940 in Archer and the marriage was solemnized December 12, 1979 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. He farmed until 1949 when he joined Utah Power and Light. He was an elder in the LDS Church.


Survivors include his wife, Wanda, Rexburg; four daughters, Mrs. Harold (Sharon) Bischoff of St. Anthony, Mrs. Odell (Diana) Dye of Shelley, Marilyn Davidson of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Tom (Luana) Purcell of Sugar City; a son, Dale McIntier, Rexburg; brothers and sisters, John Wayne McIntier of Firth, Cora Parkison of Otis Orchards, Washington, Lila Rainey of Idaho Falls, and Dothel Sharp of Post Falls; 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.


Services will be held Saturday at the Rexburg 2nd LDS Ward church with Bishop Orin Bates officiating. Burial will be in the Archer Sutton Cemetery.
