Chloe was from the SPCA, no one wanted a deaf dalmatian puppy. She had the most beatiful blue eyes. My daughter, Jennifer's roomate Denise got her. The girls moved back home, and Denise brought Chloe with her. In 1995 Denise moved to an appartment, and Chloe stayed. This is when Chloe became a Parman

I had never had a dog, she became my best friend. She would sleep next to my side of the bed in the floor, then one day my daughter let her onto the bed that was that, she was sleeping in the bed. She slept there until she was too old to get up and down out of the bed then she went back to sleeping next to me on the floor.

Not sure if all dogs are like Chloe, but she became so much part of our lives. She was happy to see you every time, even if you just got back from the mailbox. She would follow me where ever I went, not bothering just there.

When we went on vacations her Aunt Nita would come and stay with her, she needed someone to sleep with. Chloe was such a people dog. Other dogs scared her, she had no idea what they were, she knew cats.

In the last 2 years her back legs were giving out. She knew her limits, she would wait for me at the bottom of the stairs if I went upstairs. towards the end we would have to lift her out the back door over the step to the back yard.

The day I lost her was the saddest day of my life. I know she will be waiting for me.
