DEXTER, Mo. — Terry Diebold, 66, of Dexter died Sunday, March 15, 2009, at his home.
He was born April 9, 1942, in Scott County, Mo., son of Albert and Gladys Glueck Diebold. He and Lois Stuart were married in May 1981 at Jackson.
Diebold served in the U.S. National Guard.
He was a member of Knights of Columbus and Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife; five children, Anton "Tad" Diebold of Dexter, Chris Diebold of Jonesboro, Ark., Charlotte Glasener of Park Hills, Mo., Cory and Colby Diebold of Dexter; two brothers, Morrell Diebold of Cape Girardeau, Calvin Diebold of Kelso, Mo.; a sister, Joyce Welter of Cape Girardeau; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. A prayer service will be held at 4:30.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with the Rev. David Dohogne officiating. Burial will be in Hagy Cemetery.
