Ann D. Navarro 1932 - 2008 Pomfret - Ann (Donlon) Navarro, 76, of Freedley Road, died Wednesday, November 26, 2008, in Worcester, MA after a brief illness. Born in Pomfret, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Ann (Melia) Donlon. She was the loving wife of Raymond Navarro. They celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary in October 2. Mrs. Navarro worked as a nurse's aid for Day Kimball Hospital for many years. A 1950 graduate of Putnam High School, she was a lifelong communicant of Most Holy Trinity Church and a member of the Daughters of Isabella. Ann enjoyed visiting with her friends and spending time with her grandchildren. She had a special fondness for her dog, "Maggie". In addition to her husband, Ann is survived by her three sons, Raymond D. Navarro and his wife Donna, Daniel Navarro and his wife Sandra; and David Navarro, all of Pomfret; and seven grandchildren, Nicholas, Patrick, Drew, David, Alison, Elizabeth, and Anthony. She was the mother of the late Lisa Navarro-Greenman and the sister of the late Eileen Adint.
