From the Adams Review, 1907:

A very pretty wedding was that which occurred in Adams Tuesday morning at Sacred Heart church when Miss Elizabeth Sabel and Wm. Keifer were joined in holy wedlock by Rev. Father Reichl. The ceremony was performed at 9 o'clock in the presence of a large circle of friends and relatives and was very impressive.

The bride was attended by Miss Carrie Kiefer, a sister of the groom and the groomsman was John P. Weber of McHenry, Ill., a cousin of the bride.

Both the bride and bridesmaid were attired in gowns of white Perline lawn, the bride carried roses, while the bridesmaid carried carnations. The groom and groomsman were attired in the conventional black.

After the ceremony the guests assembled at Sabel's hall where an elaborate wedding dinner was spread and in the evening a reception was tendered the happy young couple by their many friends. Morton's Harp orchestra was in attendance and dispersed sweet strains of music during the evening. At midnight a bountiful supper was served, the choir girls of Sacred Heart church, which consists of the following young ladies, the Misses Rose and Martha Heimer, Mamie Smith, Kathrine Schneider, Margaret Rooney and Mary Gilligan, assisted in the serving.

The pleasant evening passed all too rapidly and long after midnight the guests departed wishing the bride and groom that joy and happiness may ever fill their many years of married life.

The bride is one of our most respected and popular young ladies while the groom is one of our best known and prosperous young farmers. The young couple will make their future home on the Kiefer farm west of town where they will soon be at home to their many friends.

Among the out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sabel and Mr. and Mrs. John N. Sabel of Johnsburg, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. John P. Sabel and Mr. and Mrs. George Ditter of St. Peter, Wis.; John, Mike and Fred King also of St. Peter and Miss Carrie Kiefer of Faribault and Miss Lizzie Weber of McHenry, Ill.

The Review joins with their many friends in wishing them happiness and prosperity in their married life.
