Nimrod received a land patent in Cass Twp, Greene Co., MO in 1860.
Moved to Montana in about 1864.
The Montana Library Network on the Web has newspaper obituaries. The April 14, 1873 issue of the Helena Daily Herald includes an obituary that says that Nimrod Ford was shot by E. M. Dunphy in a quarrel about cattle. The April 18, 1873 issue of the Bozeman Avant Courier has the same obituary.
