Son of John and Mary Hanson (nee Furbisher). He was born in Hatfield Yorkshire about June 5th, 1793 and baptised on June 7th, 1793. On May 17, 1817 in Owston Lincolnshire he married Elizabeth Spencer where they remained and he worked as an agriculture labourer. Thomas died on Christmas Eve and was buried on December 26, 1862. He was 69 years of age. Cause of death was 'decay of nature'.
