Monticello - Mrs. Charlotte Rutan, a resident of Monticello, died Sunday at the Johnstown Hospital at the age of 94. She was the widow of Rev. Frederick Rutan, a Presbyterian minister who died in 1933.
She was born May, 1867 in New York State, the daughter of Charles and Juliet Huntington Starr. She is survived b a daughter, Mrs. Longworth Love, Brooklyn; a son, Huntington Rutan of Wallaston, Mass,; and by seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. from the Van Inwegen Funeral Home, the Rev. Dr. William A. Crawford officiating. Burial will be in the Rock Ridge Cemetery.
