Olga Kraft, 82, of Billings, formerly of Absarokee, passed away Saturday, Feb. 24, at Deaconess Medical Center in Billings, Mont. She was born on Feb. 14, 1919 in Belfry, Mont., the daughter of David and Sophie (Dies) Hergenrider. She was raised and educated in Belfry.
She married Emanuel Kraft on Dec. 19, 1937, in Belfry. They had four sons; Elmer, Ed, Dan and Larry.
Olga and Emanuel lived in Absarokee for 50 years. Olga volunteered for the American Cancer Society for 10 years and worked for the Absarokee school system for 20 years.
She and Emanuel moved to Billings in 1998. Olga loved raising her famous roses and cooking for her family. The greatest joy in her life was her grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Larry, on March 26, 1961, and one brother, Dave. She is survived by her hus- band, Emanuel, of Billings; her three sons and their wives; Elmer and Beverly of Bigarm, Mont., Ed and Peg of Billings and Dan of Billings; eight grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren; her four brothers, Alfred, Johnny, Rudy and Alex; three sisters; Annie, Emma and Lydia; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Funeral services will be held 1p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Absarokee. Interment will follow at the Rosebud Cemetery. Memorials may' be sent to the charity of one's choice.
