Marion Savell Howell, born Dec. 14, 1922 in Sarasota, FL, died Feb. 27, 2012 in a local nursing facility. Mrs. Howell was a life long resident of Semmes and a member of Semmes First Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons, Gordon Stanley (Nancy) Howell, Jr., Okemos, MI, Charles Brenson (Diane) Howell, Semmes, and Patrick Vaughn (Elaine) Howell, Mobile; seven grandchildren, Joshua Howell, Marion, IN, Adam (Elaine) Howell, Lansing, MI, Shannon (Jeff) Hibser, Chicago, IL, Chris Doglione, Mobile, Meredith Howell, Mobile, Patrick (Druhan) Howell, Jr., and Eaven (Carolyn) Howell, Semmes; two great grandchildren, Logan Howell and Samuel Howell; nieces nephews, and other relatives. The family wishes to extend a personal thank you to the special caregivers at Cogburn West health Card Facility and Infirmary Hospice Care. A graveside service and interment will be held on Friday, March 2, 2012 from Semmes First Baptist Church Cemetery at 11:00 am.Condolences may be offered at www.valhallafh.com
