C.S. "Red" Cunningham, 92, of Conway, passed away on January 24, 2009. Born in London, England on September 9, 1916, he was the son of Arthur and Frances (Stone) Cunningham. C.S. was an electrical engineer, a graduate of London Polytechnic and a member of I.B.E.W. He was a member of the RAF during WWII where he worked on experimental radar and later became a flight-training instructor in Estivan, Canada. He became a United States citizen in the 1950s. His wife Yvonne D. Cunningham; his previously mentioned parents and a brother Ted preceded him in death.

Survivors include daughters: Sue Fletcher and husband Dennis of Sgt. Bluff, IA and Lynn Knox and husband Dennis of Conway, AR; grandchildren: Ashley Fletcher Larty and husband Ed of Sgt. Bluff, Cam Fletcher of McKinney, TX, Missy Kolar and husband Gene of Sgt. Bluff, Chris Knox, Aaron Knox and wife Nikki all of Conway; great grandchildren Blake Fletcher of McKinney, Abby Kolar and Andy Kolar of Sgt. Bluff and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Home Care.
A wake service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 26, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with family visitation to follow. A Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 27, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with entombment to follow in St. Joseph Mausoleum. Pallbearers are Cam Fletcher, Dennis Fletcher, Aaron Knox, Chris Knox, Dennis Knox and Kenneth Knox.
