She was a life-long member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and graduate of St. Joseph High School. Her favorite hobby was playing bridge.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Cecil Moix; four children: Cecil of Royal Oak, Michigan, Phyllis Simon of Arlington, Virginia, Nancy Patterson of Fort Smith, and Jane Pounders of North Little Rock; three grandchildren: Philip and Jonathan Pounders of North Little Rock and Sandra Simon Halliburton of Shaker Heights, Ohio, and two great-grandchildren: Alex and Ana Halliburton.
Her brothers, Robert and Emil and her sister, Albertine preceded her in death. She is survived by five of her siblings: Frank Moll of Salem, Oregon, Louise Gillespie also of Salem, Dorothy Hess of Conway, Joe Moll of Morton Grove, Illinois and Jim Moll of Phoenix, Arizona.
The children want to acknowledge the extensive care provided by their father as Mrs. Moix's health failed and the family thanks Melissa Hight and her staff, especially Candice Brewer, for the wonderful concern and competence with which they continued that care. Mrs. Moix was also attended by Hospice Home Care.
A Rosary Service will be held Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. with visitation to follow at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
Funeral Mass will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Fr. Seiter as Celebrant . Entombment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Pallbearers are sons-in-law: Ray Simon, Jim Patterson, Phil Pounders and grandsons: Philip Pounders, Jr., Jonathan Pounders and brother-in-law, Ray Hess.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1115 College, Conway, AR 72032 or the Alzheimer's Association.
