Abstract--age 64, of Kingwood, died March 8, 1990, at Preston Memorial Hospital. She was born July 5, 1925, in Howesville, d/o the late W.I. and Alberta Wright Korte. She taught school in Preston Co. for 27 years before retiring. She is survived by her husband, Richard E. Smith, of Kingwood; two daughters, Phyllis Ryan of Shinnston and Rita McNair of Kingwood; a sister, Evelyn Stone of Howesville and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters. Burial was in the St. Joseph's Cemetery, Howesville.
