LEBANON - Eulan H. Peiffer, 80, of 1006 S. Second Ave. died Thursday in Good Samaritan Hospital, the same day that his sister, Bertha M. Schaeffer, died at home. He was part owner of Foodland Supermarket and a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Sunset Lions Club, Friendship Fire Company and Lebanon County Historical Society. Surviving are his wife, Miriam R. Holland Peiffer; two sons, David E. of South Bend, Ind., and Thomas C. of Harrisburg; a daughter, Esther M. Houser of Leighton; a brother, Lee D. of Lebanon; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nephews and nieces. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in his church. Burial will be in Klopps Union Cemetery, Hamlin. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church, 1000 S. Fifth Ave., Lebanon 17042.
