James Allred and family who have been living on the Arkansas River in the Osage country the past six years, started for this neighborhood last week, but Mr. Allred who was ill, died while en route, near Pawhuska. The remains were brought to Elk City and funeral services held Monday at the residence of his brother-in-law, Adam Truitt. Mr. Allred was 61 years of age.
