Belgian artist whose work included the covers of albums by David Bowie & The Rolling Stones as well as posters for cult films. For the cover of David Bowie's "Diamond Dogs", the singer was portrayed as a chimera of man and dog, accompanied by similarly deformed backing singers. For the Rolling Stones album "It's Only Rock and Roll" he showed the band trooping down a red carpet flanked by zombie admirers. His best-known poster was for Martin Scorsese's Taxi Driver. He also made the posters for Robert Altman's Short Cuts (1993), Robert Bresson's L'Argent (1983) and Paris Texas (1984) and Wings of Desire (1987) by Wim Wenders.

He mixed painting, drawing, photography and image manipulation in his work which had elements of surrealism, psychedelia and pop art. He also produced two comic strips.
