Iva Williams Reece, 94 years of age, of Eubank, Kentucky, departed this life on Sunday, August 7th, 2011.
She was born in Lincoln County, Kentucky on September 12th, 1916, daughter of the late Vinnie "Jack" Williams and Ella Salyers Williams. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
She was survived by two sons, Harold Frey Reece of Chicago, Illinois and Landis Dane Reece of Somerset, Kentucky; two daughters, Barbara Delores Wesley of Louisville, Kentucky and JoAnn Reece of Somerset, Kentucky; one sister, Jewell Richardson of Somerset, Kentucky; ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Morgan Reece; her parents, Vinnie "Jack" and Ella Williams; two sons, Rexford Morgan Reece and Darrell A. Reece; one daughter, Linda Joyce Reece; one brother, Raymond Williams; and two sisters, Sadie Todd and Inez Fredrick.
Visitations were held after 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 10th, 2011 at the Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in Science Hill, Kentucky.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 11th, 2011 in the Chapel of the Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Phil Fisher officiating.
Burial followed in the Eubank Baptist Church Cemetery in Pulaski County, Kentucky.
