She was born in Stanley, Wis., on March 15, 1910, the daughter of the late George and Bertha (Rusch) Mason.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three husbands, Clayton Harrop, Helmuth "Elmer" Madsen and Aloysius "Al" Schmitt; a son, David Harrop; a step-son, Gilbert Madsen; and two sisters, Amelia Dankert and Susannah Neisius.
