Almida was born in New Ulm, Texas on December 20, 1892, the daughter of Reinhold F. and Emma Schweke Glaeser. On November 17, 1914 she was united in marriage to Hugo A. Kuehn. The couple made their home at their farm in the New Ulm area. Almida was a loving mother and homemaker. She was a member of the Industry United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister and three brothers. She was survived by her son Lawrence H. Kuehn, a step-son Clifton Kuehn, one sister, Mrs Reuben Danchak, one brother, Gilbert Glaeser, one step-grandchild, Emily Kuehn, and several nieces and nephews.
