MRS. CLAY DEAD AT 91
Mother of W. L. Clay and Former Resident of County
Dies at Home of Son near Bunceton
Mrs. Permelia Clay, mother of W. L. Clay died at the
home of her son, W. L. Clay near Bunceton, Thursday
January 29, 1920 from the effects of a fall received
not long ago. Mrs. Clay had lived in Moniteau County
many years, first south of California in the Union
neighborhood and later in California for several years
after her son went to Saline County and later to Bunce-
ton. Mrs. Clay is well known to many Moniteau County
people, she and her husband being among the hardy pio-
neers of the county. The body was buried in the Green
Grove Cemetery near Latham.
