Sharon McClanahan passed away on Wednesday August 6, 2008 in Vancouver, WA. She was 59. Sharon was born on August 25, 1948 in Portland, OR. She attended Churchill County High School, and graduated from Fallon High School in Fallon, NV. She worked as a cocktail/flight attendant for Harrah‘s Reno for 12 years, and retired from Bonneville Power after 17 years as an equipment specialist. Sharon was an avid reader, she loved small children, camping, and she loved to entertain family and friends. Survivors include her son, Kelly Jack McClanahan of Fallon, NV; three grandsons, Miles, Kelton, and Alec McClanahan of Fallon, NV; her mother, Mantha Hendrickson of Fallon, NV; two brothers, Lee McClanahan of Vancouver, WA, and Terry McClanahan of Washougal, WA; two sisters, Cassie Willis of Fallon, NV, and Cynthia Shaw of Vancouver, WA.

Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 11, 2008 at The Gardens funeral home in Fallon, NV.
