"Hancock Herald - 17 August 1916," Mortuary Record - Marvin Chandler, aged 83 years, died Tuesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Chas. Southworth, Oneonta. His wife died two years ago.
Surviving are five children, Malvern Chandler of Albany, Mrs. Lewis Furch, Long Eddy; Mrs. Dencie Davis, East Orange; Mrs. Chas. Southworth, Oneonta; Miss Elivra of Meridale: also three sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Elizabeth Rickard of Hancock, Mrs. Lola Hand, Idaho, Mrs. Helen Jenkins, Massachusetts; Alva Chandler, Rock Valley; Nelson Chandler White Lake, Oneida county, N.Y.
Deceased was one of a family of fifteen.
The funeral service will be held in Oneonta this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, and his remains taken to Long Eddy for burial tomorrow.
