ROBERT HOLLAND DIES AT MARYMOUNT
Robert Holland, 63, Blackwater, died February 5, at the MArymount Hospital.
He was a retired miner.
Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at the PRovidence Baptist Church and interment followed in the Taylor cemerery at Blackwater.
House Funeral Home was in charge.
Mr.Holland was born July 20, 1896, the son of James and Vesta Smallwood Holland.
He was married Dec. 15, 1917 at Cary, KY to Polly Tuttle and she with five daughters and six sons survive:
Rhoda Puterbough, Maggie Napier and Steve,George and
Bobby Joe Holland, all of Richmond, IN;
Pearl Schwerzer, Pickneyville, IL;
Mary LeFevers, Clover Sprint, KY;
Nancy Dooland, Arjay, KY;
Lewis and Junior Holland, Blackwater; and
John Holland, Cary, KY;
fifty-four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He also leaves six sisters and one brother: Steve Holland and Maggie Asher, Roark, KY; Gertrude Sizemore, Blue Hole, KY; Martha Phillips, Brooksville, IN; Myrtle Roark, Asher Fork; Lucy Browning, Hamilton, OH; and Lou Carroll, Holmes Mill, KY
