Eldon V. Smith, 66, of 3800 Blur Ridge Blvd., died Thurdday at Research Medical Center.
He was born in Henderson, Iowa, and had lived in this area five years. Mr. Smith was an international sales representative for the Missouri Pacific Railroad before he retired and was a member of the Railroad Traffic Organization of South California and the Traffic and Transportation Club of Kansas City. He graduated from Washburn University, Topeka, ws an Army veteran of World War II, and was a member of the American Legion.
His survivors include his wife, Kathryn L. Smith of the home; a brother, Eugene D. Smith, Sarasota, Florida; and a sister, Velma Haag, Topeka.
Graveside services were today at the Holton, Kansas Cemetery.
