Bio

I have been doing family research for approximately 24 years. During that time I have been greatly gratified to learn about my family and have found many interesting ancestors. That said, one particular ancestor has captured my imagination more than most. His name is John Lynch and he was from Ireland. Unfortunately, after 20+ years of research, I am no closer today than I was 20 years ago in answering the question of, who were John Lynch's parents? Through DNA, I believe I now know where John was from in Co. Cork, Ireland, that being the Ballyvourney/Macroom area but I have found research of Irish records for this area to be a little more than vexing at times. If you are a descendant of John Lynch or related genetically, I would love to hear from you. I have taken DNA tests at Ancestry and 23andMe and have my results uploaded to GEDmatch, FTDNA, MyHeritage and most recently, LivingDNA.
