Mrs. Chandler was born December 31, 1950, the daughter of Mack R. and Vandy (Spivey) Williams. Mrs. Chandler was a native of Guilford County. She worked at Cone Mills for 31 years and most recently at The Fresh Market.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Vandy Spivey Williams.
She is survived by her husband, Hoover Samuel Chandler; one daughter, Daphne B. Council and husband, Shawn of Gibsonville, N.C.; one sister, Mary W. Fogleman and husband, Randy of Greensboro, N.C.; grandsons, Jakob Wilkins and Evan Council; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
