Angelina Angelette St. Pierre, 82, a resident of Golden Meadow for 80 years, died at 2:25 a.m., Saturday in Galliano.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. today and from 7 a.m. until funeral time Monday at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with religious services following at 10:30 a.m. at Lady of the Prompt Succor Church in Golden Meadow.

Burial will follow in Cheramie Cemetery.

Survivors include three sons, Clarence, Lincoln, and Stanley Martin; and two daughters, Mrs. Bertha Williams and Mrs. Lucille Gillenwater; one brother, Olivier Angelette; two sisters, Mrs. Ambrose Martin and Mrs. Waldow Toups; 23 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Valmont St. Pierre; three children, Lucia St. Pierre, Lindberg and Uderick Martin; three brothers, Emile, Jr., Angelo and Ambert Angelette; and three sisters, Antoinette Eserman, Florida Pitre and Olivia Toups.

Angelina married Aramis Martin at the age of 16 on 5/18/1917 in New Orleans. Aramis was born 5/19/1892 in Larose, LA and died 9/1/1982 in Delcambre, LA. They had eight children; Bertha, Lucia, Uderick, Lucille, Clarence, Lindberg, Lincoln, and Stanley.

She then married Valmont St. Pierre sometime after 1942. He passed away in 1981.
