Jacob "Jake" Schuster, age 7, died Thursday, September 10, 1998 following an extended illness. Born September 18, 1990 in Jacksonville, he was a 2nd grade student at R.L. Brown Elementary School, and a member of Deermeadows Baptist Church.

Jake played soccer and baseball, and he liked to swim. His unique personality made him loved by all. Jake was dearly loved by his family: mother and father Terri and Richard Schuster; three sisters: Hillary, Erica, and Lindsay; maternal grandparents: Betty and J. Y. Day, and C.W. Hughes; paternal grandparents Barbara Schuster and the late Samuel Schuster; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Entombment is in the mausoleum at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Memorials may be made in Jake's name to Wolfson Children's Hospital 5th floor, 800 Prudential Drive, Suite 205, Jacksonville, FL 32207 or to CHILD Cancer Fund, 1015 Atlantic Blvd., Suite 247, Atlantic Beach, FL 32233.
