"Mrs. Wallace Dies At Dillon

Dillon, Dec. 30 - Mrs. Effie Guill Wallace, 44, widow of Arch W. Wallace, died suddenly at home here this afternoon. Mr. Wallace died of a sudden heart attack some months ago.

Mrs. Wallace is survived by two sons, James A. Hutchins and Thomas W. Wallace, and a daughter, Hazel E. Wallace; also the following brothers and sisters, -, - and - of Dillon; - of Four Oaks, N.C.;  - of Greensboro and - of Tarboro, N.C.

Interment will be at River Side cemetery tomorrow afternoon, but definite funeral arrangements had not been announced tonight."

Essie is the daughter of William B. Guill and Martha Scruggs of Danville, VA.

The informant was her son, James Hutchins.

Essie Wallace's Death Certificate lists the cause of death as cerebral hemorrhage hypertension.
