Wife of Henry Bertis Gibbs and the only daughter of Asbury B. & Ida Mae (Thornton) Black. Her mother died from complications from child birth. Eunice suffered from epilepsy and was eventually the cause of her death. After her discharge from the State Hospital in Tuscaloosa, Alabama she moved to Clinton, Oklahoma to live with her father. When her siezures started again she was admitted to the Western State Mental Hospital at Ft. Supply, OK until she died. She was buried at the hospital cemetery.
