They moved to Athens, Henderson Co., TX in Oct 1870 and then Paris, Lamar Co., TX where they both died. They had 10 children: Bennett, Ann (Pelham), Enoch E., Henry, Pheraby (Pelham), Mary (Largent), Emily L. "Jane" (Thompson), William S. "Billy", Monroe & Prisilla Adeline (Nichols)(Arthurs).
Monroe was born 1853 in Pickens Co., AL and died of the jaundice Sept 1869 near Carrollton, Pickens Co., AL.
