Johnny Harold Creasman, age 63 of Dayton died at his home early Sunday morning May 18, 2008 while surrounded by his family. Johnny was born in Graysville on May 26, 1944 the son of the late George and Bonzella (Goins) Creasman and was also preceded in death by his brother, Preston Creasman. Johnny was a life long resident of Rhea County where he was employed as a sewing machine mechanic for Robinson Manufacturing for 25 years. He was of the Church of God faith and loved fishing. Johnny is survived by his two daughters, Crystal Creasman and Deanna Sutton, His former wife, Elizabeth Creasman, four brothers, Marion, Claude, Don, and Mike Creasman, four sisters, Bonnie Gossett, Susie Thurman, Margaret Gossett and Patsy Berger, two grandchildren, Bradley and Kenzie Sutton and all are of Dayton. Funeral services for Johnny will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Sister Opal Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Spivey Cemetery. The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home where they will receive friends Monday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
