He was born in Pulaski Co. on July 5, 1921, the son of Melvina Correll Keith, Eubank, and the late Cordus Keith.
He was a farmer and a tractor and farm implement salesman for Davidson and Taylor Hardware, Science Hill. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II serving 31 months in the Infantry in the southwest Pacific and was wounded in action in April 1945. He was a member of Science Hill D.A.V. Chapter 162 and Floyd Switch Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother; his wife, Glenda Eubank Keith, whom he married on July 5 1945; a son Danny Keith, Science Hill; two brothers, James A. Keith, Salem, Ind., and Troy Keith, Eubank; and two sisters, Vesta Greer and Dorothy Dungan, both of Eubank.
He was preceded in death by his father, and a brother, Denver Keith.
Services were at 11 a.m. at the chapel of the Morris and Hislope Golden Rule Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Hail officiating. Burial was in the Freedom Cemetery.
