Mickey was born in Neptune and lived in Wall before settling in Farmingdale in 1963. Mickey was a plant supervisor for DiSanti Concrete Products, Howell for over 30 years.
He was predeceased by his father, Michael Sagan, in 1989. Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Margaret Sagan; four sons, Blain, Matthew, Mark, and Sean Sagan, all of Farmingdale; five daughters, Kelly White of Howell, Kris Cancellieri of Jackson, Colleen Sagan of Farmingdale, Shannon Sagan of Farmingdale, and Kate Gary of Jasper, Ga.; his mother, Peggy Potter of Jackson; a brother, Gary Sagan of Jackson; eight grandchildren; two stepbrothers; and two stepsisters.
