GAMBER-In this city, on August 20, 1891, Mrs. Emma Gamber, aged 89 years (SIC - should be 39), 6 months and 27 days. Mrs. Gamber was a victim of that fell disease consumption and exhibited great fortitude and patience in her suffering. She leaves a husband, three children and many warm personal friends to mourn her demise. She was born in Clarkville, Alleghaney county, N.Y. was married to J.W. Gamber in Michigan Sept 9, 1871, and emigrated to Oregon in 1889. She was a consistent, exemplary member of the Congregational church in Albany at the time of her death.
