Malachi Bell Jr., age 74, passed away in Akron, Ohio on April 16, 2022. He was born on December 30, 1947, to the late Malachi and Daisy Belle (Ellison) Bell in Mullins, South Carolina. Malachi was a Roofer by trade and member of Local 44. He loved photography, bird watching, and being in the company of his family. He was a devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend and will be greatly missed.

Malachi is survived by his three children, Robinette (Eric) Vetter, Malachi Bell III, and Branden (Cara) Fluellen; 14 grandchildren, Britni, Juston, Chelsi, LaTresa, Kyah, Malachi IV "CJ", Athena, Kimber, Treyton, Braxton, Alexzander, Titan, Sebastian, and Dominick; and great grandchildren, Malachi V, Amorra, Juston Jr., Abigail, Brielle, Shiael, and Naami; siblings, Phyllis Porter, Michelle Godbolt, Brenda Burke, Ronald Bell, and Robinette James; along with a lifetime of collected friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son Malcolm; grandson, Khi Matthew; brothers, Ansel and Kenneth; and sister, Fleecia.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8:00 pm on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina. A Home Going Service will be held 11:00 am, Friday, April 29, 2022 at Fellowship Baptist Church, 901 W. Liberty St., Medina. Pastor John Peterson presiding. Malachi will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery in Wadsworth.
