Bunnie graduated from Stephen F Austin high school in 1954 in Houston Texas. After high school graduation, she got an education degree from the University of Texas in 1958.
Soon after her college graduation, Bunnie married Charles William Philipp on December 23, 1959. At that time, she became a teacher, working in several different schools while traveling with Charlie who was stationed in the U.S. Army. Bunnie became a mother when she delivered her first son, Charles (Chuck) William Philipp, Jr on November 1, 1960. Almost two years later, she gave birth to a daughter, Martha Maureen Philipp on October 25, 1962.
Bunnie moved to Longmont, Colorado in July 2022 to be near her son.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charlie and daughter, Martha. She is survived by her son Chuck, daughter in-law Kathryn Philipp, son-in-law Bob Pollock, and five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service on January 24, 2024 @10am, at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
