Beloved 'dogger', companion and friend.
Killed by an unrepentant former 'professional' guardian/conservator from Monroe Michigan of a company called Compassionate Companions.

After being discharged as guardian and conservator of an approximately $2,500,000 estate, still acting as 'fiduciary' of the trust fund, Diana Mataya closed veterinary account making it difficult to get follow up medical treatment for a simple bacterial infection which wasn't fully responding to oral antibiotic.

Although Diana Mataya and her attorney, self described 'business partner' Peter Fales were called by Ames mother, both refused or failed to notify the veterinary office that Mataya was still acting as special 'fiduciary' of her mother's trust fund.

Ames died an excruciatingly long and painful death as both Diana Mataya and Peter Fales ignored emergency calls placed by her mother for 2 weeks.

Ames is yet another victim of thisthe entirely unregulated, unmonitored Michigan 'professional' guardianship industry.

Never should a McDonald's cashier with no other known work experience who has gone through her own personal bankruptcy be allowed to manage multi million dollar estates and complex trust funds.

Diana Mataya did generously approve to pay for Ames cremation using money from her mother's trust fund once she returned from her yearly annual summer family vacation which she goes on from July-Sept (Labor Day).

Compassionate Companions, Diana Mataya and Peter Fales are being investigated by the Michigan Attorney General's White Collar Crimes Division Guardianship Abuse Task Force for financial crimes involving guardianship abuse in which there have been at least a half dozen (as of 2019) KNOWN victims needlessly placed into unnecessary guardianships.

As per (recorded) conversation in December 2019, Peter Fales confessed that he was involved in knowingly pursuing and petitioning the County Probate Court to legal implement unnessary guardianships and conservatorships merely 'to make a little extra money so I could be more comfortable when I retire'.

Peter Fales admitted this when he refused to address multiple breaches of fiduciary duty by Diana Mataya by formally notifying Monroe County Probate Court Judge Frank Arnold at request of his client, Ames mother, noting that there was a conflicted relationship with Diana Mataya stating, 'Diana's the most important romantic relationship of my adult life' while then discharging Ames' mother as a client.

It was while Ames human mother attempted to find new counsel that she first heard of the known history of rampantly perverse abuse of guardianship and conservatorship with a string of victims in Monroe County by attorney's about Monroe County in which Peter Fales in tandem with Compassionate Companions agents Sister Margaret Chapman IHM (original owner of Compassionate Companions) and Diana Mataya-Deneau (now acting Finance Director) by numerous attorney's about Monroe County who had represented a string of additional primary and secondary victims who were also originally client's of Peter Fales whom he funneled to Compassionate Companions for unnecessary guardianship and conservatorship services in which they, together, bankrupted large estates in under 3 years.

Sister Margaret Chapman is the original owner of Compassionate Companions and colleague of Sister Maureen Comer - aka one of the 'Michigan Guardians from Hell'.

Chapman and Mataya refer to their relationship with Comer and detail how they were, each, tutored on the very lucrative aspects of abusing guardianship and conservatorship as a means to both inflate billing and secure payment for unnecessary services.

Sister Maureen Comer is the leader of the Macomb County guardianship abuse network consisting of several different lawyers who were involved in the medical kidnapping of Virginia Wahab, now deceased mother of Mimi Brun.
