Television Writer & Motion Picture Screenwriter, Producer. A busy scriptwriter, he penned stories for a wide rage of TV programs, TV-Movies and motion pictures during a forty-year career. A product of Dartmouth College from where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree, he embarked upon Hollywood soon after graduation and went to work immediately in television beginning with the series "Steven Randall" (1952). This was followed with his motion picture debut as a writer for the low-budget film "Singing in the Dark" (1956). During the 1960s, he found himself highly in demand as he penned the memorable "Star Trek" episode titled "Mudd's Women" (1966) and was a staff writer for the series " Sea Hunt," "The Rogues," "I Spy," "Gidget," "Batman," "The Wild Wild West" and "It Takes a Thief." Additionally during the decade, he write the screenplay for the motion picture "Chamber of Horrors" (1966) and was the creator and main writer for the TV series "Iron Horse" (1966 to 1968). During the 1970s, he continued his steady work for Bruce Geller the series "Mannix," "Mission: Impossible," and collaborated with producer Quinn Martin on the shows "Dan August," "Cannon" and "Barnaby Jones."
