Model, TV Host, Entertainer. Born Clara Patricia Lage, she will be remembered by an entire generation for hosting the children's TV show "El clan de Patsy," on the Argentine channel ATC in 1988. At age 18, in 1973, she participated in the Miss Universe pageant in Japan. That was the kick-off for her modeling career, which took her to travel the world and be one of the most emblematic faces in the national magazines of that time. While working at ATC, she hosted the program "La casa de Patricia," where she interviewed several people from show business at the time. During her stay in Brazil, she came across the successful children's program "Xou da Xuxa" while surfing on television and, after hard work, managed to export the rights to make a national version in Argentina: thus "El clan de Patsy" was born, a great success in Argentina that had to be canceled early because of a hard crisis the country suffered at the time. As time went by, on cable television, she was in charge of programs such as "Magazine: Mujer y mujeres de recursos," where she interviewed successful and renowned women in different fields. She died in October 2023 as a result of a stroke suffered days before. She will live in the memory of an entire generation as Patsy: the so-called "Argentine Xuxa" of the 80s.
