Actress. She was best known to television viewers as the English aristocrat Vanessa Beaumont on the popular television drama "Dallas" from 1989 to 1991. She studied English and the theatre at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She was discovered by a talent scout while performing in a college production and later made her acting debut on the television series "Mister Roberts" in 1966. Besides "Dallas," she went on to appear on the "small" screen" in such series and mini-series as "Get Smart," "Love, American Style," "The Golden Bowl," "Fall of Eagles," "A Man Called Intrepid," "The Love Boat," "Philip Marlowe, Private Eye," and "C15: The New Professionals." She also made her film debut in "The Wild Angels" in 1966. Her later film credits would include such titles as "Eye of the Cat," "Marlowe," "The Legend of Hell House," and "Target."
