"According to a newspaper article appearing in the Detroit Free Press (Detroit, Michigan), printed on Sunday, March 14 1907, page 9, rosa St. Clair married Arthur A, Walker in 1907 after paying for Arthur's divorce from his current wife. Arthur was living with Rosa while awaiting his divorce. The newspaper article is worth reading. By 1909, rosa had filed for a divorce and it was messy. It took a circuit judge named Wiest to untangle the mess and free Rosa from Arthur's grasp. That is why Rosa's last name is Walker on her grave marker."
"I have been in communication with Mrs. Beckley. She stated that Rosa's real name is Rose and Rosa was a nickname used by Rose St. Clair."
