She was born Oct. 27, 1927, in Hopewell, Va., to the late John and Maude Bishop. She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvine E. Fields.
Annie was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She was retired from Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corp. She was also a devoted member of Woodlawn Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Glenda M. Douglas and her husband Jim of Lake Oswego, Ore.; sons, Irvine E. Sines and his wife Betty of Lynchburg and David L. Fields and his wife Mei of Richmond; one sister, M. Lucille Taylor of Pensacola, Fla.; one brother, James J. Bishop of Chester, Va.; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; family and friends that she loved very much.
