If you calculate backward 72 years and 6 months from 9 Apr 1882, his birth date would be 9 Oct 1809. Family records list his birth on 12 Oct 1809, however. (He was a distant cousin to me - 2C4R). Perhaps you could note the discrepancy in the birth/death/age in his bio.
