Married George K. Williams on September 8, 1951. They first settled in Chicago where she had been appointed the Director of Nursing Education at Michael Reese Hospital School of Nursing, where she was a Clinical Instructor and taught Med-Surg. She also worked in many areas of the hospital during the course of her career. She also authored articles in nursing journals, and was a non-credited contributor to books. After her retirement, she joined a team of specialists who certified various psychiatric facilities in New York State. She retired in 1993 as head nurse in mental health at Ellis Hospital.
She was a Cub Scout den mother of Pack 34 and a dedicated Girl Scout leader
Member of Zion Lutheran Church; Lake George Power Squadron and was a former longtime member of the Schenectady Yacht Club.
Survived by her beloved husband; her daughter; three grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Predeceased by her parents; her son, Christopher George Williams in 1995; and her sister, Margareta E. Crewe.
Memorial service - Zion Lutheran Church, Schenectady.
