Harry M. Abbott, aged 59 years and 2 days, died at the St. Johns hospital in Springfield Thursday, Feb. 28. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 2, at 10 a.m. from the Klinger Funeral Home with burial in the National cemetery southeast of Springfield.
He was born and reared at Sparta. He served his country in the Spanish-American war.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cicero Abbott of Springfield, a brother, R.D. Abbott, and a sister, Mrs. Della Clemens, both of Sparta. He was uncle to Mrs. Joe Shipman of Ozark.
