MISHAWAKA - Maxine E. Rightley, 74, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away at 11:20 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2008, in Hospice House. Maxine was born on August 21, 1933, in South Bend, IN, to Raymond (Jack) and Molly (Wolters) Errings, who both have preceded her in death.

On September 30, 1950, in South Bend, Maxine H. Errings married James "Jim" Rightley, who survives along with their two daughters, Debbie Pritchard and her husband, Allen of Granger, IN, and Pam Rightley and her husband, John Hargreaves of Osceola, IN; three grandchildren, Lisa Hundt and her husband, Chuck, Angela Acrey and her husband, Darren, and Nicole Nelund; and three great-grandchildren, Rylie, Hanna and Quinn.

Mother was a loving and strong companion and wife. She was devoted to her daughters and granddaughters. Her pride and joy were her great-grandchildren. She was a 10-year survivor of lung cancer. She was an accomplished entrepreneur with "Gifts by Maxine," a successful bagel shop in South Bend, and had been a broker realtor since 1977.
